Charlotte is out of a little mostly Nubian doe (part Alpine) that I kept out of one of our sell-lots, in 2004. She kidded with twins, a buck "Wilbur" and a li'l doe, "Charlotte." She was SO tiny, I didn't think there was any chance she'd make it. But, she did, and boy does she let us know it! She became our "shop mascot" and I'm really not sure how we kept her from gettin' stolen--she did end up in a few cars! My neice claimed her, so I'm keeping her in the herd for her. |
